The Virgin Islands Assistive Technology Foundation (VIATF) helps people with disabilities and their families access affordable financing to purchase assistive technology devices and services.

AFFORDABLE ACCESS

Making Assistive Technology More Accessible

VIATF provides eligible Virgin Islands residents with access to low interest bank loans for the purchase of assistive technology devices and services.

Through an interest buy down, the interest cost of the loan is significantly reduced to a rate of 4%. VIATF partners with Banco Popular to make these loans possible.

Identify Assistive Technology

Determine the assistive technology device or service for which financing is needed.

Virgin Islands Residents

Applicants must be Virgin Islands residents who have a disability and/or have a family member with a disability.

Standard Bank Requirements

The applicant and/or co applicant must meet standard bank loan requirements, including the ability to repay the loan.

Reduced to 4% Interest

Through VIATF's interest buy down, the interest cost of the qualifying loan is significantly reduced to a 4% rate.
